15th Mid-America Open

The 15th Annual Mid-America Open was held from March 18-20, 2011, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Louis-Clayton, 7750 Carondelet Ave., St. Louis, Missouri.
Seven players finished tied for 1st in the Open Section with 4/5. IM Angelo Young ended up with the best tie-breaks amongst the players and so he took the 2011 Mid-America Open title and the small bonus prize. GMs Sergey Kudrin and Ben Finegold, IM Ron Burnett, FMs Conrad Holt and Andrew Karklins, and Jialin Ding were the other players involved in the tie.
