19th Southern Open
April 1-3, 2011
The 19th Annual Southern Open was held from April 1-3, 2011, at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, 8001 International Drive, Orlando, FL.
The Open Section finished in a four-way tie with GM Julio Becerra, FM Eric Rodriguez, Robert Perez and “A” player Justin Blackman finishing at the top of the standings with 4/5. GM Becerra took the bonus money and the Southern Open title on better tie-breaks after beating FM Rodriguez in the final round to cause the tie.
