Central California Open 2011

The 3rd Annual Central California Open was held from August 12-14, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel, 2233 Ventura Street, Fresno, California.

GM Dejan Bojkov from Bulgaria, IM Enrico Sevillano (SoCal) and GM Nick DeFirmian (NYC) tied for 1st-3rd at 4-1, but Bojkov (who is relocating to Central California) just edged out Sevillano (last year’s Central California Open Champion) by half a tiebreak point. They each won $832, and Bojkov also received the additional $78 bonus prize for finishing first on tiebreaks.
