2nd Boardwalk Open
October 21-23, 2011
The 2nd Annual Boardwalk Open was held from October 21-23, 2011 at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, 1401 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, New Jersey.
FM Thomas Bartell won his final round game to catch GMs Nick De Firmian and Joel Benjamin who drew their game against each other. All three finished at the top of the standings with 4/5 although GM Nick De Firmian captured the title and an additional $90 in prize money by virtue of having the better tie-break score.
